Welcome to Riviera Suites
An unforgettable travel experience now begins

The name "Riviera" is historically found in the area .
It means coastline, which is precisely the location of this boutique hotel, on the east side of the Venetian harbor of Chania, one of the most enchanting neighborhoods of the city.

The view is breathtaking!

The location is most advantageous, a short walk from all the sights, (the Egyptian Lighthouse, the Venetian Neoria (shipping yards), the Sailing Club, the Center for Mediterranean Architecture/Grand Arsenal, the Giali-Tzamisi-Mosque) as well as a myriad of shops, cafes, restaurants, fish taverns etc. In other words, our hotel is the ideal choice for leisure or business travel.

It was a challenge to select a decorator for our hotel's interior, worthy of the history and cosmopolitan character of the area and the magnificent architecture of the old town.

Everything here blends harmoniously: the refined style with the (architectural and natural) landscape.
YYour stay at the Riviera Suites will surprise you with the unique identity of our place. We aspire to be your favorite refuge and the "home" to come back to, after your explorations.

Ideal choice for leisure or business travel.

We invite you and welcome you.

Each of the 4 suites has its own special character. Common denominator is the harmony, the comfortable and generous spaces, the ambient lighting, the sense of discreet luxury, and of course the unrestricted view, that stretches ahead, capturing the panorama of the old harbor in its entirety! We invite you to live this experience in any of the 4 seasons of the year.

Riviera Suites, a unique experience
Welcome to a unique place!

Chania, a city, melting pot of cultures and natural landscapes, that will steal your heart.

Venetian Harbor, the most characteristic monument of the city of Chania, an architectural masterpiece, an attraction of world renown and unique beauty.

Riviera, an old neighborhood with its own story on the east side of the Venetian harbor, just across from the waterfront, leading to the Egyptian Lighthouse.

Riviera Suites aspires to be your favorite refuge and the "home" to come back to, after your explorations. The pin of your map is shown here.

In the past, you only encountered small fishing boats here. The fishermen frequented almost exclusively this part of the harbor. Besides them, the sponge-divers from Kalymnos would come here and spread their sponges on the pavement to dry. There were no houses - only warehouses and industrial facilities. Opposite from our building in the 70's, there used to be old warehouses and an old soap factory. A humble café stood alone at the beginning of Sarpidonos street. Naturally, there was no tourism here back then - at least not before 1980. All that belongs to the past now. A glance around the lively neighborhood will persuade you on that.
